Frank Ocean’s Boys Don’t Cry magazine featured poems from Kanye West, Tyler, the creator and Frank himself.
Kanye’s poem was called The McDonald’s Man. Now, we’re sure you’ve already read it, but just in case you haven’t, here’s a snippet:
“I knew the diet Coke was jealous of the fries
I knew the McNuggets was jealous of the fries
I could see it through his artificial meat eyes
And he only be there some of the time
Everyone was jealous of them French fries
Expect for that one special guy
That smooth apple pie”
McDonalds then took to Twitter to respond to the poem.
As you can see, the restaurant chain didn’t address Kanye directly…but it’s pretty clear who it’s aimed at – judging by its form and the caption. It’s safe to say McDonald’s enjoyed the work as much as the rest of us.
We love it when giant companies get involved in Twitter.
