MAJOR Ronald Formerly of Ashill and Chard died peacefully on 7.10.22 with family around him. Much loved father, grandfather and great grandfather, who along with his wife Mavis cared for many foster children. A funeral service will be held on November 2nd at 2.30 pm at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Chard where he was the organist for many years. Family flowers only, but donations welcomed to go to Prostate Cancer UK or St Margaret's Hospice. These can be left in the retiring collection after the service or sent to the Funeral Directors Nigel K Ford, 45 Station Road, Taunton, TA1 1NZ.
