A BUSINESS volunteer has won the Young Enterprise gold award for her “outstanding contribution” to the work of the organisation.
Jane Burden, the Taunton Chamber of Commerce administrator, was the only winner of the accolade in the South-West.
Wendy Horton, Young Enterprise area manager, said: “On behalf of the chamber, Jane has been instrumental in recruiting new business support, finding venues for events, assisting with photography at events and generally extolling the virtues of Young Enterprise whenever and wherever possible.”
Meanwhile, Taunton School’s Reminisce was the overall winner of the Somerset Company Programme title at the Young Enterprise Somerset County finals at the Holiday Inn, Taunton, and now progress to the regional finals.
