River Tone footbridge in Taunton will re-open this week, council say
A FOOTBRIDGE across the River Tone will open by the end of the week, according to Taunton Deane Council.
The bridge, which connects Taunton's Third Way and Goodlands Gardens, has been closed to the public for around a month.
It has large boards and meshing put up as engineers make repairs to the woodwork and concrete at the bridge.
