A FIRE in the chimney of a property with a thatched roof caused problems for firefighters in Taunton last night (June 12).
Crews were called to Rumwell at 10pm and after an assessment feared the fire was in danger of spreading to the thatch on the property.
Specialist aerial equipment was used for the fire crews to gain extra height to safely extinguish the fire, which was finally put out at approximately 11pm.
