BRITISH folk singer-songwriter Rory McLeod plays the Victoria Rooms in Milverton on Friday, June 21.
The one-man band has mastered several different instruments including harmonica, guitar, trombone, spoons, finger cymbals and his very own invention, the ‘stomping box’.
A keen traveller and ex-circus clown and fire eater, Rory’s interesting past lends itself to an entertaining evening of not only live music but also poetry and storytelling.
“I’ve travelled to look for work, to mend a broken heart, to be with someone I longed for,” said Rory.
“I’d roam because I was curious to see what was around the next corner.”
Rory will be performing at the venue on Fore Street at 7.30pm. Tickets are £10 on 01823- 400416 or email milvertonmusic@f2s.com
