Wiveliscombe wind farm protesters form Friends of the Hills group
CAMPAIGNERS against an idea for a potential wind farm in Wiveliscombe have formed a group.
More than 100 members have joined Friends of the Hills in a bid to stop wind turbines being built on the fields surrounding the town.
As reported in the County Gazette, Brendon Energy is eyeing up sites for “one or possibly a small number” of turbines but an official application has not been lodged.
