A LADY from Taunton is preparing for the experience of a lifetime, as she gets ready to skydive to raise money for a children's charity.

Pamela Boulton, 58, who is Cluster manager for Thomas Cook in Taunton and Bridgwater, is set to skydive on September 27 in aid of Thomas Cook Children's Charity, which works 'Making Dreams come true for sick and disadvantaged children.'

Pamela said: “I am really looking forward to it because it is something I have wanted to do for a long time. It doesn't worry me, going up in the plane, but the initial burst is probably the bit that will worry me most. My stomach might leave me.”

Pamela hopes to raise £500 from her skydive, and has so far raised £440 for a charity she is very fond of. She said: “The charity does an awful lot of good work with the children. There is nothing worse than seeing people who can't afford the care they need.”
