Large farm vehicle fire sends thick smoke into skies near Taunton
A FORAGER caught fire in a field near Taunton on Sunday afternoon (October 6) sending thick smoke into the sky.
The incident happened at Orchard Portman shortly after 3pm.
Fire crews had difficulty getting to the scene and the farmer offered the use of his tractor to help get equipment to the forager.
Three crews were called to the scene due to the severity of the fire.
