COMMUNITY groups in Taunton are joining forces again this year to bring some festive cheer to vulnerable residents across the town.
Taunton Rotary Club, Taunton Round Table and Taunton Deane Council for Voluntary Service will be once again running the Christmas hamper scheme.
Recipients are nominated by local organisations, and health and social workers, and the majority are elderly or with special needs.
The parcel contains seasonal gifts of Christmas pudding, ham and shortbread, as well as other goods.
Members of the Rotary Club and Round Table deliver the parcels personally.
