LAW firm Ashfords has revealed a new brand and website at

The fresh look for the firm, which has offices in Taunton, Exeter, Tiverton, Bristol, London and Plymouth, follows '12-months of fact finding and implementation’.

Ashfords chairman Mark Lomas said the firm wanted the change as it developed its Moving Forward strategy for the future of the firm.

Mr Lomas said: “We knew we needed something that reflected the strategic aspirations of the partnership and the values of our partners but, importantly, it had to be something our people would all buy into across all of our offices.

“The starting point was to find out what our clients, our contacts, and the people working in Ashfords, thought about the firm.”

In January this year, working with Exeter-based creative agency Thinkology, a research and information project began.

A questionnaire was sent to everyone at Ashfords and clients and professional contacts were interviewed at length.

The company said the clear message that came back was a sense of togetherness between the firm, its clients, partners and staff.

A company spokesman said: “After taking this into account, the Thinkology design team came up with two arrows, overlapping to reflect this close relationship and pointing upward to signify the concept of moving forward.”

The capital A of Ashfords has also been dropped.

“It had served us well, but it was time for a change,” said Mr Lomas
