DUNSTER First School has been awarded a 360 degree safe E-Safety Mark for its online safety.
The South West Grid for Learning made the award after recently visiting to the school review their esafety provision.
The South West Grid for Learning Trust provided the internet connection and a range of other services to schools across the South West.
They developed a tool to help schools address e-safety issues.
Schools are expected to show they have provided a high standard of esafety education and awareness for staff, students, parents and carers.
Following the visit, the assessor reported: “Dunster First School is an outstanding example of the development of e-Safety over a period of time.”
E-safety lead at Dunster First School, Nic Gray said: “We are delighted to have attained this award and are particularly pleased that the assessment process recognised the work that has been done by the whole school community.”
