WELL-rounded students from Queen’s College have received their Gold Duke of Edinburgh Awards.
Richard Venn, Abi Sanders-Dutton, Hannah Clarke and Hope Pointing were presented with their awards by pentathlete and Beijing Olympic silver medallist Heather Fell at St James’s Palace.
Headmaster Chris Alcock said: “We are very proud of Richard, Abi, Hannah and Hope for their outstanding Gold Award achievement, which proves a long-standing commitment to volunteering, physical fitness and the development of their skills.
“They have formed enduring memories and friendships through their exciting expeditions and residential projects.”
