RESIDENTS from a Somerset care home got into the Easter spirit recently by holding a crafts competition for a hospital.
Folks from the Moorhaven Care Home made decorative bonnets, cards and papier-mâché egg hats and were judged on their designs.
Cllr Libby Lisgo, Mayor of Taunton Deane, stopped by to judge the competition and try a few of the hats on herself.
The handmade decorations were then filled with lots of scrumptious chocolate and presented to the children’s ward at the Musgrove Park Hospital.
The overall winners of the bonnet, cards and crafts competitions were Olive Mansell, Betty Biggs and Apolonia Pawlowicz.
