MEDUSA, the snake-haired Gorgon of Greek myth, has inspired etchings and drypoint prints going on show at the Tacchi-Morris Arts Centre in Monkton Heathfield.
In her exhibition, ‘A Medusa for All Seasons’, Moorlinch artist Nancy Farmer merges the image of the imagination-capturing femme fatale with the shift in our “very English” seasons.
The artist is known for her playful, striking style, interested in representations of women and femininity in art.
The show opens next Wednesday and runs until Tuesday, May 20.
The opening times are 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, and there are performance nights.
