GREEN living is the theme of Queen’s College’s Sustainability Show and Taunton Food Fair in June.

The event on Sunday, June 15, will display the latest renewable technologies, locally and ethically-sourced gifts, hobbies and food from 100-plus exhibitors.

There’ll also be archery, a climbing wall, horse and dray rides and sheepdog demonstrations.

This year the focus is on the need for food and the need for sustainable transport.

The Castle Hotel in Taunton will also host cookery demonstrations throughout the day, with head chef Liam Finnegan being joined by Richard Guest, of the Augustus restaurant.

The event is giving its support to the Somerset Community Foundation, which has in turn supported those affected by the winter floods.

The Sustainability Show and Taunton Food Fair is from 10am to 4pm on Sunday, June 15 – for information, including booking details for exhibitors, see www.sustainabilityshow.org.uk
