“ELECTRIFYING” London burlesque troupe The Folly Mixtures come shimmying to Oake Manor Golf Club near Taunton on Friday, May 9.
With their “tongue-in-cheek showbiz glamour” (Chortle), The Folly Mixtures have taken their tassels all around the UK and on to Italy, Germany, Denmark, Amsterdam and Jersey.
While their group choreography is tight, the Follies also have skills as striptease soloists, specialising in fire performance, tap dance, en pointe ballet, fan dancing and … angle grinding.
Revival, Bestival, Indigo at the O2, Elton John’s Aids Foundation Ball, Mercedes Benz, Café De Paris, Volupte and Time Out’s ‘Big Burlesque Debate’ have all seen them in action, and to do the same visit oakemanorevents.co.uk
Tickets cost £10 for the night, which is expected to run from 7.30pm to midnight.
