BRIDGWATER Arts Centre will host an array of events as part of an exciting arts and entertainment project.

The Reactions! Project, funded by the Arts Council through ‘From the Ground Up’, will present the GOYA piano trio in a series of three workshops designed to explore the art forms of music, dance and visual art.

GOYA was formed in 1997 by professional musicians Robert Hayman, Nadija Corcos and Daniel Lloyd.

The aim of the project is to bring live performances to audiences in the South West who may not have access to regular concert venues.

It brings performers and artists together, allowing them to experience each other’s work and artforms live as they are being created.

Hands-on workshops, priced at £4, are scheduled to take place on May 1 and 2 and will offer a refreshing and enriched format for participants.

A dancer will also be attending the workshops to inspire any budding performers.

Audiences will then get the chance to attend a live concert on May 3 at 8pm, which will feature performances of Beethoven’s classical music.

There will also be an exhibition shown at 7pm on the Saturday of art work based on the workshops and from an earlier project of work by artists from Highbridge and Burnham.

Concert tickets are priced at £8 and there will also be the opportunity for artists to book a workshop session between 12pm and 2pm on all three days for £10.
