WIVELISCOMBE Tennis Club has a more welcoming and practical entrance, thanks to a grant from Somerset branch of the Lawn Tennis Association.
A smooth, level pathway replaces the hazardous steps which were particularly dangerous in winter.
Now players and spectators alike can park and stroll into the club, with improvements also including a new fence and small gate to stop small children running on to the road.
Club secretary Jeremy Toye said: “We’re very grateful to Somerset LTA’s Small Grant scheme for making funds available to cover half the cost of this project.
