A TEN-YEAR-OLD boy raised over £180 for a mental health charity by holding a bake sale at his home.
Felix Amos chose to support Mind in Taunton and West Somerset because members of his family have experienced mental health problems.
Felix wanted to support the charity’s work providing help for people in times of distress.
Felix, who raised £180.55, said: “If you’re ever feeling down or depressed you can ring Mindline on 01823-276892 any evening between 8pm and 11pm.
“Someone kind will be there to listen to you and help you.”
For the bake sale, Felix baked fruit cake (with help from his friend, Charlie Webber), three different kinds of brownies, cupcakes, cookies, gluten-free carrot and lemon cakes and Mars Bar cakes.
He persuaded his grandmother to bake tollhouse cookies and Millionaire Shortbread, and his big brother, Fenner, created Rice Krispie cakes and made the price labels.
