BISHOP Fox’s School in Taunton is celebrating after recording the best GCSE geography results in Somerset.
Students received a record number of passes and had the best A-C performance of all schools in the county – the number of A* and A grades was also a record.
Steve Summerill, assistant head teacher, said: “This is down to outstanding teaching and a committed group of students.
“Taking students on fieldwork such as Lulworth Cove allows them to see the physical processes learned in lessons in real life, which helps deepen understanding.”
