IT was beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Taunton at the weekend as shoppers flocked to the festive markets and children’s rides on Saturday.
High Street was packed with stalls including jewellery, craft and garden ornaments for visitors to pick up a last minute Christmas gift for their loved ones.
Young children took the opportunity to hop on some of the funfair rides which were also in situ in High Street, while buskers serenaded the streams of shoppers on one of the biggest retail days of the year, dubbed ‘Panic Saturday’.
