COVERING everything from floods to Christmas festivities, it’s been quite a year for our photographers.
Here, Ash Magill and Steve Richardson bring you some of their photographic highlights of 2014.
PARKFIELD Primary School pupil Ben Capon beat more than 2,000 schoolchildren from across the country to win a bike helmet design competition.
Ben is pictured with Amy Briggs, from WD-40, which ran the competition in partnership with the Bicycle Helmet Initiative Trust.

Dragon Boat 3 – IN June, teams took to the River Tone in Taunton for the annual Dragon Boat Race, which raised more than £21,000 for charity Headway Somerset.
