MATISSE and Jazz is the 2007 theme for Taunton's Queen's College dance show.
A collaboration between the school's art department and dance coach/choreographer Kay Bloxham has produced a show that combines a display of paintings and 3D work in the style of Matisse with a series seven dance sequences inspired by individual jazz paintings.
Some of his most famous works such as Icarus and Cowboys have been entirely re-interpreted into an exciting fusion of music and dance by Mrs Bloxham and her team.
The show dates are February 7/8, 7.30pm, Performing Arts Centre, Queen's Hall.
