THE new owner of the land where a former golf course was sited has submitted four applications associated with returning the land to farming.
Taunton Deane Council officers are recommending conditional approval for a silage clamp, a cattle shed and a dung store at the former Taunton Vale Golf Club, in Creech Heathfield.
They are also suggesting temporary approval should be granted to a mobile home for an agricultural worker.
The club closed before Christmas after it was sold for farming purposes by the owners.
Dozens of members had launched an unsuccessful bid to buy the facility so that it could continue as a golf club.
