THE Secretary of State for Justice Chris Grayling was in Taunton last week.

Mr Grayling was welcomed by Rebecca Pow, the prospective Conservative MP for Taunton Deane to an evening hosted by Clarke Willmott LLP in their Taunton office at Blackbrook Park Avenue.

He talked about his political agenda as well as the current justice system.

Mr Grayling said: “It was a really valuable opportunity to talk about current issues with members of the local legal profession, as well as to explain to others in the local business community about our long term economic plan.

“I also wanted to throw my weight behind Rebecca's campaign in what will be a crucial constituency for deciding the outcome of the general election and whether we get the chance to continue that plan.”
