FORMER Conservative leader and one-time Foreign Secretary William Hagues was in Taunton yesterday, Wednesday, February 18.
As well as catching up with Somerset cricket captain Marcus Trescothick in the nets at the County Ground, he also found out about bat making at Millichamp and hall's workshop.
Mr Hague was in town for a party event aimed at boosting Rebecca Pow's chances in the General Election in May, when she is contesting the Taunton Deane seat.
