FOSSILS and the Jurassic Coast were on the curriculum when a local author visited pupils from Blagdon Hill Primary School on Monday.
Peter Davidson, author of Professor P and the Jurassic Coast visited children in classes one and two to read to them and show them some of his finds from the beach.
Class one teacher Veronica Cooney told the County Gazette: "The children were absolutely enthralled, they were in the palm of his hand."
The local author spent nearly two hours at the school.
