CAMPAIGNERS fighting to overturn a controversial plan to convert a Victorian landmark hotel in Minehead into a fast food takeaway and flats may have chalked up a victory.
West Somerset Council's planning committee is expected to refuse an application by Minehead Renaissance Limited, a company set up by Oxford-based planning consultant Alan Kanerick, to develop a convenience store, hot food takeaway and restaurants on the ground floor in the Victorian hotel when it meets on Thursday.
