SIX high achievers from Richard Huish College in Taunton have received offers from Oxford and Cambridge Universities.
Heading to Oxford are Joe MacConnell to read philosophy, politics and economics at St Catherine’s College; Max Phillips, to study classics at Corpus Christi; Sam Dunnett, to read English language and literature at Wadham; and Abigail Mobbs, to take theology.
Off to Cambridge are Alice MacLeod, to read modern and medieval languages at Selwyn College; and Michael Winter, to study natural sciences at Girton.
Principal John Abbott says: “We are extremely proud of what these students have achieved and their success is down to their own hard work and the commitment from their teachers to ensure all students achieve beyond what they might expect.”
