WORK is due to start next month on the new inpatient ward at St Margaret's Somerset Hospice.
The £2million Star-backed appeal for the 20-year-old Bishop's Hull hospice has already passed the halfway stage.
Thousands of people have received care at the facility over the years, but it has now literally run out of space, while some of the facilities have become outdated.
An easy way to help support the appeal is through the Buy a Brick initiative - a £5 donation will buy 10 bricks for the new ward.
You can buy a brick by calling into St Margaret's newly refurbished shop in Bridge Street, Taunton.
Everyone supporting the campaign will receive a certificate.
If you can't get to the Bridge Street shop, simply call the Appeal office on 01823-345901 and request a Buy a Brick donation form.
