TAUNTON MP Jeremy Browne has opened the new bicycle shed at Archbishop Cranmer Primary School.
He said: "There is increasing public concern about levels of childhood fitness and health.
"There is also a growing awareness of the need to reduce traffic congestion and cut pollution.
"So it is great that the children at Archbishop Cranmer are being encouraged to cycle to school.
"The teachers and governors made a real effort to raise the funds for the new bicycle shed.
"I was delighted to open such a smart new facility."
