PEOPLE have until Monday to get in their views on the first Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service corporate plan.
The service from the recently merged brigades covering the two counties outlines its priorities for the next three years.
Among its targets in the plan are to reduce deaths from accidental dwelling fires by 20% over the 11 years to March 2010 by carrying out home safety visits, working with young people, arson reduction initiatives and fire safety enforcement.
The results of the consultation will be fed back to the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Authority to assist in their decision making for the service.
To have your say, go to www.dsfire.gov.uk or request a paper questionnaire from Michelle Hurst, Consultation Officer, on 01392-872354.
