Somerset County Orchestra bring their season to a triumphant close with the famous classic Beethoven's Fifth Symphony.
The concert is on Saturday May 19 at St James Church, Taunton.
As well as the Beethoven, they are playing Haydn's Symphony no. 102, is one of the London Symphonies and is a little gem of elegance and melody.
The concert starts with the overture to Mozart's opera "The Magic Flute". A more intriguing blend of romance, magic and humour it would be difficult to find - perfect for a warm spring evening.
David Hedges once more raises the baton to take charge of the orchestra, ably supported by leader Alex Ennis.
The concert starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are £9, with a family ticket for £20, and under 18s can get in for just £1.
They are on sale at Gillian Greig Music, Taunton, on 01823-333317 and Taunton Tourist Information Centre 01823-336334.
Tickets will also be available at the door.
