THROUGH your Postbag column I would like to thank all those residents of Burrowbridge, Durston, North Curry and Stoke St Gregory for the support that they have given me through the recent election period. This is not only for the resounding vote on May 3 but the encouragement I was given by many of those who I met on the doorstep. This turned the challenging task of making contact with 300 households into an interesting and, at times, enjoyable experience.
I shall try to address the role of Taunton Deane Councillor for these four Parishes in a way which matches the confidence which they have chosen to show in me. Thank you to all those who helped me and voted for me.
