THIS is the face of murderer Jason Jay, who has been jailed for life for killing a former pub landlord.
Jay, 40, formerly of Mulberry Close, Taunton, brutally battered to death Roger Denslow, also 40, of Wheatley Crescent, before robbing him.
After the jury found Jay guilty, Judge Graham Cottle told him he must serve at least 28 years behind bars.
Mr Denslow's decomposing body was found hidden under corrugated iron sheets on wasteland at Obridge, Taunton, after the murder on June 23 last year.
After the case, Dec Insp Rebecca Jarvis praised the courage of witnesses who helped convict Jay.
She said: "We realise for some of them this was a difficult step, but it was vitally important in helping us secure a conviction in this case."
