THE latest students to start at Wiveliscombe’s Kingsmead School have been on a bonding exercise.
They took part in a team building and activity trip at the 1610 Sports and Activity Centre at Hestercombe.
The event was an opportunity for the students to spend the day with their form tutors, working in groups and participating in eight different tasks, including tug of war, spider’s web and a skipping challenge.
Ross Porter, leader of student support for Year 7, said: “The weather was perfect and the students had a lovely time, working together and getting to know each other better with their form tutors.”
