SAVVY West Somerset residents are being encouraged to sign up and save as the council has signed up to The Big Community Switch.
This is the third consecutive year West Somerset District Council have signed up to the scheme, and people can save up to £108 by joining households across Britain to negotiate energy prices.
The more people who take part, the greater the bargaining power and the free registration opens on December 1st.
Cllr David Westcott, Lead Member for Community and Customers said: “I am so pleased we are again offering this to people in West Somerset.
"Some residents have already benefited but as it is very straightforward, with no obligation and potentially some great savings, I do hope many more will sign up this year.
"With the winter months ahead of us now seems the perfect time to sign up for cheaper energy.”
