THIS year's Somerset County Cricket Club church service takes at the Cooper Associates County Ground, Taunton, tomorrow (Sunday, May 29).
The Bishop of Bath and Wells, the Rt Rev Peter Hancock, will be speaking at the service, which starts at 10am ahead of the start of the second day's play in the Specsavers County Championship match against Surrey.
The Bishop is a keen cricket fan and is looking forward to spending the day watching the game - and even though his family have links with Surrey, he will definitely be supporting Somerset.
Rob Walrond, the club's chaplain, said: "We hope that as many Somerset member and supporters as possible will come along and help to make this another special occasion."
