ST ANDREW'S Primary School, in Taunton, held a special day that was dedicated to science only.
Key stage two children had a day of experimental and investigative science activities, designed to help develop thier scientific curiosity, and to encourage group-work skills through a 'circuit' of activities.
Key stage one enjoyed a science day based around colour, where they learnt about how animals use colour for camouflage, and looked at colour changes in acid or alkaline conditions.
Paul Sheehan, head teacher of St Andrew's, said: "The science days were great fun, and a great learning opportunity for the children."
Children also learnt about rainbows, and were even shown how to experiment with them at home.
