PUPILS, parents and staff at Ruishton Primary were able to take a good look at some of the equipment they received through the Sainsbury's Voucher Scheme at their Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, November 20, 1996.

The school managed to collect 27,500 voucher, which were exchanged for sports, and science equipment, books, educational packs and learning aids.

The items were on display at the Christmas bazaar, which raised over £800 for the school.

Teacher Gill Stripp told the Gazette: We received a large amount of equipment and we are able to resource all areas of the curriculum.

"We are very pleased."

Mrs Stripp is pictured with pupils admiring their new school equipment.
