A WOMAN in her 60's has been freed from her overturned car by firefighters following a crash in Watchet.
Police were called to the incident shortly after 3.28pm on the B3191 at Five Bells.
Firefighters and ambulance crews were also in attendance and the crash caused delays in both directions between Washford Hill and the Doniford Road junction.
Fire engines from Williton and Minehead attended and confirmed there was a single vehicle that had left the road and was on its side with someone still inside.
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue said: "The crew liaised with ambulance personnel to assess the situation and best way of releasing them.
"Crews created space around the vehicle in order for the person to walk themselves out."
