POLICE say they have successfully identified a man in connection with an alleged assault at a pub in Minehead.
The assault is alleged to have happened on Saturday, (January 14) in the men's toilets at the Old Ship Aground Pub in Quay Street at around 10.30pm.
As a result, a 42-year-old man was taken to Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton for treatment.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said: "We've identified a man after our appeal regarding an assault at a Minehead pub.
"Our enquiries will now continue. Thank you for your support."
