A TEAM of students from Norway who have been in the UK for a month were given a great send off by clients and staff at the Halcon Centre.
The visitors have been helping out three days a week at the respite centre for adults with physical disabilities and the clients have enjoyed learning about Norwegian traditions and culture.
The students were thanked for their help a Norwegian day was held with a traditional cake and lunch, along with a celebration song Hurra For Deg.
Halcon centre manager Kevin Mellor said: βItβs been great having the students here.
"The clients have really enjoyed meeting them and having them support with activities and hobbies.
"I would like to thank the students for coming to Halcon and spending their time in the UK getting to know everyone here.β
