A YOUNG actor who suffered horrific injuries in a car accident returned to the unit at Musgrove Park Hospital where he spent months in a coma to say a big thank you.
James Spink handed over a cheque for £250 to the hospital staff at Alfred Morris House where he received treatment after an accident in October 1995.
James was a member of the Taunton Area Young People's Theatre (TAYPT).
Colleagues at TAYPT raised the money by putting on a Christmas show at Bishop Fox's and Ladymead Community School.
The accident happened just weeks after James had started studying at Richard Huish College.
Ray Thomas, TAYPT founder said: "The road to recovery for James has been long and painful but he continues to make progress and recently resumed attending college as well as TAYPT."
