A former Minehead RNLI crew member set his sights high as he signed up to do a wing walk on a vintage plane.
Terry Morgan wanted to raise money for his old station.
He signed up to do a wing walk on a vintage biplane, circling the skies – and occasionally upside down – above Cirencester last summer.
And at the weekend, carpet fitter Terry handed over the proceeds - £1,000 raised from sponsors - to the current Minehead lifeboat crew.
Minehead RNLI chairman Bryan Stoner said Terry’s gesture was much appreciated.
“He’s still remembered as a very popular and dedicated crew member and we’re delighted he still keeps in touch – and continues to raise funds,” he said.
