STUDENTS from a Wellington primary school took part in an egg-citing competition.
The pupils, from Beech Grove Primary School, were tasked with created vehicles that could safely transport an egg without it breaking.
The competition took place during the holidays as a family activity.
The vehicles required wheels and had to safely transport an egg. They could be made out of three categories; a construction kit eg meccano, Lego, junk modelling and the most beautiful creation.
Friends of Beech Grove primary members were the judges and provided the mouthwatering prizes.
