NEW MAYOR: Gary James has been elected the new mayor of Wellington
A NEW mayor and deputy mayor of Wellington have been chosen.
Gary James has taken over from Bob Bowrah as mayor of the town.
He was elected at the annual council meeting that took place last night (Monday).

Cllr Bowrah was thanked and awarded his past chairman badge.
The new mayor of Wellington will be supported by his wife and mayoress Bee James.
Cllr Janet Lloyd was elected as deputy mayor.
