LABOUR leader Jeremy Corbyn is heading to the Glastonbury Festival.

Mr Corbyn will be in Somerset fresh from his success at the General Election to speak in the Leftfield.

The leader was due to speak at last year's festival, but his appearance was cancelled amid fallout from the EU Referendum result.

However, Labour MP Clive Lewis, who will also be speaking, confirmed the 2017 date on Twitter this morning.

He said: "Chuffed to be speaking Sat June 24 at #Glastonbury2017. Recharge your activism at the Leftfield tent with special guest star @jeremycorbyn."
