A DORSET man won't forget his trip to Taunton in a hurry after it set him back £160.
Liam Aiden Merlin Hutchinson was arrested after he was caught shoplifting or attempting to steal three times inside ten days.
Hutchinson, 23, of Church Mead, Toller Porcorum, near Dorchester, first helped himself to six bottles of tequlia valued at £86 in Sainsbury's, in Billet Street on June 7.
He was at it again just six days later when he nicked Lego Star Wars sets worth £160 from Watkin Toys, barely 100 metres away in East Reach.
Then four days after that he was back in Watkin Toys, where he set his heart on more Lego Star Wars toys.
Only this time he was rumbled and as a result he appeared in Taunton Magistrates' Court this week.
He was given an 18 months conditional discharge for all three offences and ordered to pay £160 compensation to Watkin Toys after pleading guilty to his crimes.
Hutchinson was ordered to pay the money off at a rate of £10 a week.
